An article in the Jan. 24, 2014 New York Times, The Elders of Organic Farming, expresses the questions in our hearts for Brook's Bend. What are the organizational models that will hold Brook's Bend as a shared community resource for generations to come? How can we pass our knowledge about the farm on, and transfer the farm to younger farmers who might have little or no economic resources?
