Brook's Bend is a 90 acre Commons in Montague, MA where several enterprises are woven together to share the land. The farm is currently owned by Al Miller and Suzanne Webber, whose intention is to transition ownership to an emerging model of multiple stakeholders.
The working farm at Brook's Bend serves as an incubator for innovative agricutltural enterprises. Currently, Little Song Farm, run by Ryan Richards, occupies this niche with pasture-raised lamb.
Brook's Bend Woolens, with Suzanne Webber, produces beautiful rugs, blankets and yarns working with local mills and weavers. Call 413-367-2281 for appointment to view and to purchase. Currently we have yarns and rugs.
Mentoring programs for youth and adults are run by Neill Bovaird of Wolf Tree Programs.
Herbal medicine gardens are cultivated by Chris Marano of Clearpath Herbals.
